Did you know that Carole Greenes plays the piano and writes lyrics including three soon to be released ballads? Carole is also Professor of Mathematics Education at Arizona State University and author of over 300 books and programs for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, for teachers of those students, and for college students in need of remediation in mathematics. She is issue editor for the NCTM 2008 "Yearbook on Algebra and Algebraic Thinking in School Mathematics" and "Groundwork: Algebraic Thinking". She is past-president of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics and currently Principal Investigator for the NSF-funded project, Prime the Pipeline Project: Putting Knowledge to Work. Greenes has been inducted into the Massachusetts Mathematics Educators Hall of Fame. |

Gail Burrill from Michigan State University is past president of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, winner of the Presidential Award for excellence in Teaching Mathematics, and author of numerous books and articles on statistics and mathematics education. |

Brad Findell is currently director of mathematics initiatives at the Ohio Department of Education. He is co-editor of the well-known book, Adding It Up: Helping Children Learn Mathematics. |

Susan Jo Russell is from the Education Research Collaborative at TERC and has worked in research and development for over 20 years. Her current work focuses on how students with a history of poor achievement in grade-level computation and students with a history of excelling in grade-level computation engage in computations. In collaboration with Deborah Schifter and Virginia Bastable, she is developing a book and on-line course for teachers in grades 1-6, Connecting Arithmetic and Algebra. |

Douglas H. Clements is SUNY Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Buffalo, SUNY. Previously a preschool and kindergarten teacher, his present research interests are in the areas of the learning and teaching of early mathematics and computer applications.
His most recent interests are in creating, using, and evaluating a research-based curriculum and in taking successful curricula to scale using technologies and learning trajectories. His latest books detail research-based learning trajectories in early mathematics education: Early childhood mathematics education research: Learning trajectories for young children and a companion book, Learning and teaching early math: The learning trajectories approach. He has served on President's National Mathematics Advisory Panel, the National Research Council's Committee on Early Mathematics, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics national curriculum and Principles and Standards committees, and is and co-author each of their reports. He is presently serving on the Common Core committee of the National Governor's Association and the Council of Chief State School |

Melendy Lovett is President of TI Education Technology and Senior Vice-President of TI. She has a long standing commitment and passion for mathematics education and currently leads an initiative of TI women who are working to improve math and science education for girls in middle and high school. She has been elected to the Women of Technology International Hall of Fame, named as a distinguished alumni by the University of Texas-Dallas, and named one of Dallas-Fort Worth's "Top 25 Changemakers by the Dallas Business Journal. |

Cancellations after May 15th forfeit 25% of deposit.
